1) San Sebastià Beach (Sitges)
Between the old town and the port of Sitges, there is a neighborhood of seafaring tradition. It has a familiar beach frequented by the neighbors of the town, with a length of more than 200 meters. From there you can enjoy magnificent views of the old town, located on a small hill overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The beach has all the services and is adapted for people with reduced mobility.
2) Cala de l'Home Mort (Sitges)
It is a naturist beach located in a secluded corner south of the Sitges area, made up of Platja de l'Home Mort and Platja de Roses. The two are separated by a small rocky ravine and draw a bay open to the wind. The length is around 300 meters, but they do not exceed 10 meters in width. The waters are shallow and you will find small rocks and sands under your feet. There are chiringuitos with terrace and sunbeds and parasols for sale.
3) Playa de Morer (Sant Pol de Mar)
Located in the northern area of the town of Sant Pol de Mar, this beach runs parallel to the train track and the road. It has a length of 750 meters of golden coarse-grained and narrows as it moves eastward. Located above the motorway, there are the Roman ruins of Morer, a wine production center from the 1st century. The beach has showers, Red Cross point, drinking water source and wooden walkways.
4) Les Casetes de Garraf
Located in the urban center of Garraf, this beach is 380 meters long with fine sand mixed with stones. Between the beach and the train track there is the area that gives its name to the beach, a kind of seaside neighborhood built on the sand. The wooden cabins, now remodeled, are old barracks that the fishermen used to store their utensils.
5) Playa de la Pineda (Castelldefels)
Are you a fan of sandy beaches? In Castelldefels there are almost 5 kilometers of sand with all the services you can imagine. La Pineda, in particular, have a multi-sport area where you can play beach handball, volleyball and soccer. There is also a space to practice kitesurfing, a vindication of the amateurs.
6) Playa del Puente de Petroleo (Badalona)
Located in a small town of Badalona close to Barcelona, the beach has a beautiful promenade and a sculpture dedicated to the monkey! The beach is framed between the Oil Bridge that gives it the name and the beautiful factory of Anís del Mondo, one of the best examples of Catalan industrial modernism. The beach is also a meeting point for divers!
7) Montgat Beach (el Montgat)
The Montgat Beach is one of the most authentic places of the Barcelona province coast. The seafront restaurants are filled with visitors tasting paellas in the summer. The presence of fishermen is evident by the boats that remain in the sand and by the small open market near the train tracks where they sell their catches in a loud voice, as it is no longer done anywhere else in Catalonia.
8) Playa de Ocata (El Masnou)
Another favorite beach, very long and well connected with the city of Barcelona, with clean blue waters. For the most restless, there is a yacht club and a sailing club called Ocata station.
